SSD Brain Slice Keepers & Pre-incubators
Brain slice keepers and pre-incubators are used to store slices and tissue prior to electrophysiological recording, imaging or in order to pre-incubate them with dye or pharmacological agents. SSD design develop and manufacture an array of chambers, incubators and brain/tissue slice keepers for a variety of applications including electrophysiology, imaging and pharmacology. Below we list the available incubators, which include Oslo style submerged and interface chambers and conventional microscope stage mounted chambers. The range also includes a tissue or nerve/muscle preparation chamber and a stage chamber that uses semi-permeable membrane to enhance slice viability and extend recording time. Automate Scientific Stage Chambers
AutoMate Scientific design and manufacture a range of application specific electrophysiology recording chambers which are fully compatible with their perfusion systems. Their current range includes the new QuickStage Microscope Stage Adapters and Heated Perfusion Chambers, the OPC-1 Oocyte Perfusion Chamber, specifically designed for two electrode voltage clamp studies of Xenopus oocytes, and the PCP-1 Petri-dish Perfusion Chamber, which is QuickStage compatible and ideal for use with cultured cells in 35mm dishes.
