10th FENS Meeting in Copenhagen

On July 2nd, members of the European and global neuroscience research communities will descend on Copenhagen for the 10th Forum of European Neuroscience Societies and as usual Digitimer will be supporting the conference by exhibiting (Stand #40). We will be displaying our usual array of clinical neuroscience and life science research equipment including our own isolated stimulators and amplifiers, perfusion systems from AutoMate Scientific, brain slice chambers from Scientific Systems Design and much more. We will have a four channel version of our new D440 Isolated EMG Amplifier on the stand and we are also excited to show a prototype of our new DS8R computer-controlled, isolated, biphasic stimulator, so please come and take a closer look.

We very much hope the 10th FENS meeting won’t be all work and no play for you, so the links below may be of interest when trying to plan some sightseeing trips or when searching for the best restaurants and bars to visit during gaps in your busy scientific schedule.

Parkrun Digitimer

Join Us for a run!

In preparation for all this eating and drinking, perhaps you would like to join us for a run? If there are any keen runners amongst the FENS delegates, Gareth Thompson our life science sales manager and regular parkrunner, will be pulling on his running vest on Saturday 2nd July and taking part in the Copenhagen Amager Faelled parkrun. This free, timed run is held at 9am every Saturday in the park next to the Bella Centre and is one of over 900 global parkrun venues. If you are not familiar with parkrun or their free, weekly running events and you want to find out more, please visit their website here. It’s easy to register and once you have your unique barcode you can run at any parkrun event around the world.

Gareth looks forward to seeing you at the FENS exhibition and discussing your equipment needs or perhaps lining up with you at the start of parkrun on Saturday!
