Abstract:
Electrical recordings use a bespoke 8-channel preamplifier-headstage with gain x100 (D168, Digitimer Ltd., Welwyn, UK). The D168 includes 6 DC and 2 AC (1-Hz high-pass) channels, respective input impedances 100 MΩ and 10 MΩ. Further signal processing during surgery uses Neurolog modules: NL166 interface, NL106 amplifier, NL125/134 filter units, and NL120 audio amplifier (Digitimer), and during telemetry uses D150 EEG amplifiers (Digitimer) modified for DC recording with a D166 interface (D150 amplifiers are no longer produced, our alternative is a NL530-M402 signal conditioner; Digitimer).
