Suitable for use with our NL100AK and NL102G headstages, the NL111 and NL111A micro-electrodes holders are designed to firmly hold glass micro-electrodes or pipettes.  Stock of NL111’s is limited due to discontinuation by our supplier, but the newer NL111A is a fully compatible replacement.

The holders are constructed from a clear acrylic body with a 2mm gold-plated pin at the rear for headstage connection.  The NL111 and NL111A are available with either silver wire or Ag/AgCl pellet style connection to the micro-electrode and we also provide versions with side-ports for suction/venting purposes.  Glass sizes of 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 2mm are accommodated.

NL111 and NL111A part codes have the following this format:

NL111-XY-Z or NL111A-XY-Z

X = “P” for Ag/AgCl Pellet or “W” for Silver Wire

Y = Left blank for without Side-port or “S” for with Side-port

Z = Glass size (mm): 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0

Therefore an NL111 holder with silver wire, side port and for 1.5mm glass would be part code NL111-WS-1.5.
