Digitimer North America is Exhibiting at REHABWEEK in Chicago

What is RehabWeek?
RehabWeek is a week-long event that brings together several conferences operating within the field of rehabilitation technology. Bringing these conference to one city at the same time, encourages cross-disciplinary communication and the development of collaborative partnerships between participants.
The RehabWeek includes common keynote lectures and other mutually organized sessions, such as panel discussions and poster sessions. In addition, each conference also organizes its own, conference specific sessions. Visitors can freely choose which conference to attend at any given time.

Digitimer will be represented at RehabWeek by our US based partner, Digitimer North America and their exhibition stand will include a selection of Digitimer products used by researchers operating in the rehabilitation field. Devices on display will include our DS8R Research Stimulator, which is in widespread use within many laboratories researching the potential benefits of transcutanous spinal cord stimulation. The DS8R stimulator has been a critical component of the international eWALK trial led by Prof Simon Gandevia at NeuRA in Australia, with study sites located throughout Australia, Spain, UK and the USA.
The eWALK trial uses a 10kHz carrier waveform, generated by the DS8R, in its transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (TSCS) protocol. This waveform is employed in conjunction with locomotor training (LT) to potentially improve walking ability in individuals with spinal cord injury.
