 HEKA
Elektronik are a leading manufacturer of electrophysiology and electrochemistry instrumentation
as well as appropriate acquisition and control software. The current
range of patch clamp amplifiers includes the classic EPC7, the
EPC8, the EPC800 USB and computer controlled EPC10 with USB2.0 connection. The technology
present in the EPC8 has now led to the development of a dedicated
voltammetric amplifier, the EVA8. HEKA also offer a 2 or 3
electrode voltage clamp amplifier for xenopus oocyte recording.
Digitimer also supplies a range of accessories for the HEKA
amplifiers, including pipette holders, o-rings and gold pins -
please contact us for details.

EPC10
"Plus" Patch Clamp Amplifiers -
No Longer Available |
 |
The EPC 10 PLUS is a fully
computer controlled patch clamp amplifier with a built-in
high-end interface board. Continuing the tradition of
providing the world's best electrophysiology amplifier,
the EPC 10 PLUS has all the features of the EPC 10; but it
goes much further in offering many improvements with
respect to data acquisition capabilities. The EPC 10 PLUS
features the ITC-18 interface, with eight 18-bit AD
converters with a clock rate of 200 kHz (aggregate). The
premium sampling parameters make the EPC 10 PLUS most
suitable for multi-channel and high-resolution recordings.

NEW EPC800 USB Patch Clamp Amplifier |
 |
HEKA is proud to introduce a manually controllable patch
clamp amplifier with analog telegraphing outputs for Gain,
Filter Bandwidth, Amplifier Mode and C-Slow. The EPC 800
USB allows third-party acquisition software (e.g. IGOR,
Labview, pCLAMP) to read the status of these amplifier
settings while recording data.
The EPC 800 USB features automatic compensation routines
for Vp-Offset, C-fast and C-slow, includes the low noise
"red star" headstage and offers the a fast true current
clamp circuitry for accurate recording of fast neuronal
action potentials.
|
|
Improvements in comparison
to the EPC 8:
- Telegraphing outputs for
Gain, Bandwidth, Mode & C-Slow
- Automatic Vp-Offset, C-Fast
& C-Slow compensation with the simple push of a button
- Improved current monitor
filters
- USB 2.0 communication for
software control of all amplifier functions
- Low Frequency Voltage Clamp
Mode (LFVC)
- CC+Bridge Mode
- Improved RS Comp Range

EPC7
"Plus" Patch Clamp Amplifier |
 |
The
EPC7 represents roughly the seventh in the series of
patch clamp designs in use in the Göttingen laboratories

clamp amplifiers in the world. The EPC7 is the
"classic" patch clamp amplifier and includes all
features necessary to perform patch-clamp experiments of
highest quality. Due to its excellent design the EPC7 is
still manufactured, to this day, with few changes. This amplifier can be used with the
Instrutech ITC-16, ITC-18 & LIH 8+8 interfaces and HEKA
