November 2009 - Publications using
Digitimer products now shared on Mendeley
Mendeley
provides an "itunes for research papers" interface, allowing
researchers to share publications across the internet. We
have now created collections of papers using Mendeley, which allow
our customers to quickly see how a Digitimer product has been used
in previously published research.
May 2009 - 10% Discount on
Narishige Equipment from 18/5/09 until 17/7/09
Digitimer is currently offering a 10%
discount on purchases of Narishige equipment (excluding some
items, such as consumables) until 17/7/09.
June
2008 - Flyion PatchBox Demo at University of Sheffield and other
Venues Flyion will be demonstrating their automated
patch clamp equipment at the University of Sheffield. The
day (date to be finalised) will include a presentation about their full range of products
as well as a "live" demonstration of the PatchBox
patch clamp device. Due to restrictions of the venue, this
demonstration will only be open to invited guests - if you are
interested in attending or hosting Flyion at your own UK
establishment, please contact

2007 - Digitimer Launches the New DS5 Bipolar Constant Current
Stimulator Our
new DS5 Computer-controlled
clinical stimulator is now available. The DS5 has been
developed in collaboration with Prof Hugh Bostock at the Institute
of Neurology in London and helps to speed up and facilitate
neurodiagnostic testing of peripheral nerve function. The
DS5 is driven by a voltage waveform input which is translated into
a current stimulus which follows the same time course.
October
2005 - Digitimer DS7A & DS7AH Stimulators Cleared by the FDA We
are pleased to announce that our DS7A & DS7AH peripheral nerve
and muscle stimulators have been cleared for the FDA for marketing
in the USA. This important step allows us to offer these
extremely popular stimulators for use on human subjects in the

2005 - HEKA Software Updates HEKA
are pleased to announce the release of PatchMaster 2.0
offering existing and potential PatchMaster users some
major improvements over v1.20. Users can now make continuous
recordings, set separate scaling for DA channels and make use of
solution handling when using multi-channel amplifiers. Heka
also now offer FitMaster a new analysis package designed
for use with data acquired by Pulse and PatchMaster.

2003 - New Product Announcement Digitimer
have replaced the DG2 trigger generator with the NEW DG2A
Train/Delay Generator. This device is a compact, battery
powered unit capable of generating trigger pulse trains in
response to external trigger/gating signals or an internal
frequency generator. The device also features a facility to
generate delayed pulses, ideal for effective refractory period (ERP)
studies. The DG2A complements our range of stimulators which
can all be triggered by this device. Read
