electromyography
electrodes are connected directly to the amplifier inputs or
stimulator outputs by 1.5mm touch proof plugs while others use

Axelgaard PALS Platinum,
Blue and Valutrode Re-useable Self Adhesive Electrodes for FES.
Axelgaard electrodes provide users
with a range of re-useable self adhesive electrodes ideal for use
with the Digitimer range of electrical stimulators. We offer
the premium quality PALS Platinum and Platinum Blue ranges
alongside the more cost effective Valutrode range. |

Motor Point Pen Electrode
For identification of the best
position for electrode placement, during muscle stimulation.
This pen style electrode has a 4mm diameter stimulating ball end.
The motor point ball electrode accepts standard snap connectors or
2mm plugs. |

Disposable
Concentric Needle Electrodes (DCNE)
Machine sharpened and colour coded
with a coaxial, orientation free gold plated connector.
These disposable concentric needle electrodes are a high quality
electrode for EMG recording. Available in the standard
Silverline or enhanced Goldline versions. |

Re-useable
Concentric Needle Electrodes (RCNE)
Our reusable concentric needle
electrodes feature a platinum-iridium electrode core wire located
in a stainless steel cannula. The electrode head is designed as a
sub-miniature coaxial plug, permitting quick connection that
requires no orientation. |

Re-useable Single
Fibre Needle Electrodes (RSFNE)
A platinum-iridium recording surface
is presented through a side port opposite to the cutting edge
bevel, close to the needle tip. The position of the recording
electrode is indicated by a white dot on the needle hub. The core
of the electrode has a diameter of 25µm. |

Re-useable Cables
for DCNE, RCNE & RSFNE
Required for use with our Disposable
and Reusable Concentric, Single Fibre Needle electrodes as well as
our Detachable Stimulating & Recording Electrodes (see page 9).
Our shielded reusable cables are 1m long and available with a
5-pole DIN connector or three safety DIN 42 802 connectors. |

Sharpening kit
for Re-useable Needle Electrodes
Designed for accurate and uniform
sharpening of reusable concentric and single fibre needle
electrodes. Needle holder consists of two blocks bolted
together at their sides. A 15 degree angle matches that of the
needle’s point and a 27 degree angle is for sharpening the facets
of the needle tip. The kit contains a clear plastic needle
holder, a magnifying lens and an Arkansas whetstone. |

Disposable
Monopolar Needle Electrodes (DMNE)
Our disposable monopolar needle
electrodes of stainless steel are PTFE coated for low friction
during insertion. The needle point is conically sharpened and the
needle tip serves as the recording area. The 1 metre PVC wire
terminates in a safety DIN 42 802 connector. The hub is a
firm-grip and is colour coded for easy identification.

connector ends and are available in two versions. |

Monopolar Needle Electrodes
A durable PTFE coated stainless steel
needle with an exposed tip. The point is conically sharpened. The
electrode is connected to a 1m flexible silicone wire with a
safety DIN 42 802 connector. |

Electrode is a high quality product developed for simultaneous
